Turtleneck Blues

In California you never know if it’s going to be rain or shine the next day. In the middle of Spring sometimes we end up with a cloudy day. Although we get some amazing pictures when it’s cloudy outside, I would much rather be indoors! The exciting part was that I finally got to wear my Anthropologie turtleneck that I’ve been dying to wear. I bought this top right after Winter ended. This exact one is no longer available but you can find a similar one here,¬†here, and here. If you know me, you know I despise turtlenecks. I feel smothered by tight clothing and it drives me crazy! For some reason, I felt the material of this top and it ended up in my closet. This is the most breathable and comfortable turtleneck ever. ¬†Then I had to wait for the weather to get a little cooler in order for me to actually wear it.

IMG_5666With the turtleneck I wore my Mother denim. Both the turtleneck and denim had a similar hue of blue so I thought it would be perfect. I cherish this pair like no other. They are worth every penny and I would be awfully upset if anything ever happened to them! Personally I think every girl needs a pair of Mother denim. These are some of my favorite styles: here, here, here, and here. Since there is some beige in the jeans, I opted for my beige Sam Edelman booties.

You may realize that there are two hairstyles happening here. I had just washed my hair and threw it up in a bun since I had a few errands to run. Harleen was clicking shots and mid-way I decided to take my hair down. I wasn’t appreciating the hair tied-up look on myself. What do you think looks best?!
