Today I have partnered up with Shloka from The Silk Sneaker to recreate one of her looks. She has an edgy, yet tasteful style that keeps you guessing what’s next! I decided to recreate her crop top look and put my own spin on it! Shloka took a crop top and got creative by adding a vibrant red coat. We both wore crop tops and paired it with denim. Check out her look here. Make sure to see the rest of her stunning looks come to life!
Honestly, I can find any reason to go to LA. I absolutely love Los Angeles! My significant other and I have been swamped with work and the summer was quite busy for the both of us. We thought it would be the best time to head to LA for a mini trip and check out Harry Potter World at Universal Studios. I put together quick and simple outfits for my trip and wanted to pack light since we decided to fly this time. One of my favorite outfits was my beachwear for LA from Tobi.
I have always wanted to add a shift dress to my closet. The elegance and shape of this type of dress style are chic and memorable. The best part, you don’t see the love handles! Eat your favorite burger and fries and you won’t have to suck it in afterward. This Tobi shift dress is perfect for work since it is slightly conservative and for date night, you add heels, a few pieces of jewelry and you’re set!
This is the most comfortable button up ever! I got this Anthropologie button up earlier this year. Before I tried it on, I felt the cloth and it felt like heaven. I always work and function best when I’m comfortable with what I am wearing. I filmed a tutorial with this look as well which was inspired by Kylie Jenner. With the top, I added a simple necklace since the top was plain and paired it with white denim jeans. Wedges were the perfect to dress up the look a little more. To dress down the look I would have worn sandals or flats.
In California you never know if it’s going to be rain or shine the next day. In the middle of Spring sometimes we end up with a cloudy day. Although we get some amazing pictures when it’s cloudy outside, I would much rather be indoors! The exciting part was that I finally got to wear my Anthropologie turtleneck that I’ve been dying to wear. I bought this top right after Winter ended. This exact one is no longer available but you can find a similar one here, here, and here. If you know me, you know I despise turtlenecks. I feel smothered by tight clothing and it drives me crazy! For some reason, I felt the material of this top and it ended up in my closet. This is the most breathable and comfortable turtleneck ever. Then I had to wait for the weather to get a little cooler in order for me to actually wear it.
