My past bridal client—turned blogger friend—and I teamed up to recreate her bridal makeup look. Sunia from PerfectPopSF made an absolutely stunning bride for her big day. She wore a traditional rustic colored outfit from Pakistan and adorned herself with unique jewelry pieces. For the actual wedding, I did airbrush make up since Sunia wanted a natural finish but in the tutorial I used regular MAC foundation. I did a classic smokey eye that complimented the outfit fantastically. Check out the tutorial and let me know what you guys think!
An added pop of color to the eyes truly makes any look unique in my opinion. I’m not an enthusiast of an overpowering amount of eyeshadow on my eyes but a bit of color truly brings attention to the eyes. Normally I tend to go towards more of a natural, common eye but I was inspired by a look created by Dress Your Face and I became eager to create the chocolate pistachio eyes myself! This look is a ton simpler than it seems and you don’t need many shades either. Be sure to see all of my other Youtube videos as well! Youtube Channel
If there has been anyone trending in the make up world for the past few months, it has been Kylie Jenner. Kylie’s make up always looks amazing! I love that she goes for softer looks that could be worn everyday. Sometimes she goes a bit dramatic with lashes, but many times she simply uses mascara on her own lashes. I decided to do a Kylie Jenner make up tutorial that encompasses most of her looks. On Instagram and Google, I looked at a ton of her photos and watched her make up tutorials and came up with a basic look.
Lately I’ve been pushing myself to try new make up looks. I’m the gal who wears a thin line of smoked out liner and mascara on her eyes and that’s it! I will always fill in my brows because otherwise they are nonexistent. I also wear lip liner most of the time because my lips are discolored (thank you Indian genes). Concealer is a necessity because of my dark circles but I try to use very minimal. On my eyes though, I always try to stay natural. My eyes are deep set to begin with so if I put on thick liner or a lot of shadow I feel as if my eyes appear even deeper. However I told myself that I needed to step outside of my comfort zone and start going more dramatic with my make up looks. Recently I filmed an arabic cat eye make up tutorial and I have to say, I loved the look!
It’s that time of love once again. I have already started seeing make up looks for Valentine’s Day all over Instagram, some that I love and there are also some that are a little too dramatic for me. I love soft pinks, purples, and corals. I decided to go with this elegant, yet glamorous look! You can see the final images below, but there is also a mini video tutorial on our Instagram: @My_Eunoia.
