Hey loves! Hope your weekend was splendid. I was completely exhausted from a bride + 10 other clients yesterday and had another one today. Now I get to draft some blog posts and prepare Instagram posts for this week, but that’s the fun part! Blogging makes me so happy; it’s a different type of creativity. My mom and I took a trip to Santana Row in San Jose last week and I wore this oversized dress. It was one of those pieces that have been in my closet for a while and I never got a chance to wear it. The warm day called for something comfortable. I opt for oversized or loose fitting dresses since I don’t have an ideal body yet (at least in my perception) to wear skin tight dresses. Here is the other shift dress that I love. Oversized dresses are perfect for the warm weather. I can feel the breeze while taking a stroll and they look effortless for a lunch date!
Hey guys! I haven’t posted in a while which is quite saddening but I have had a lot going on in my professional and personal life. My personal life has been insane with some major changes. Finally, I got time to refresh my mind, sit down and get a post up for you all!
The first day of Autumn has passed and I’m still wearing a floral maxi! The weather is completely unpredictable in California and you never know what to expect. I am eagerly waiting for the rain to come so I can pull out my fall outfits. Pouring rain is my favorite! Of course, I would much rather be snuggled up indoors with a hot cup of coffee, but dressing up and getting outdoors entails its own type of thrill.
I have always wanted to add a shift dress to my closet. The elegance and shape of this type of dress style are chic and memorable. The best part, you don’t see the love handles! Eat your favorite burger and fries and you won’t have to suck it in afterward. This Tobi shift dress is perfect for work since it is slightly conservative and for date night, you add heels, a few pieces of jewelry and you’re set!
I’m not much of a shopper. That may be due to my lack of patience but quite honestly I enjoy the idea adding new pieces to my wardrobe. I thought it wouldn’t be so bad to go shopping and see if anything caught my eye. Harleen and I planned a lunch and shopping date. The best place in San Jose for food and shopping is Santana Row/Valley Fair. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and I ordered my favorite, Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta. I prefer to order it mild and substitute the chicken with broccoli. Of course we saved room for dessert. We got a gigantic piece of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, one of my absolute favorite desserts!
