It’s finally March and that means, Spring is near! I decided to get creative and pick 5 lipsticks for Spring that would look definitely make a statement. 4/5 of the colors are hydrating and glossy and one of them is matte for my matte lovers! Here we go (left to right, as pictured above) :
This is a such a beautiful baby pink color. It’s light and airy and makes me feel like a princess. It has a cremesheen finish which means it’s hydrating and gives a glossy look.
For those who don’t like pink or red, I added a brown lipstick. I typically don’t wear brown lipstick, but I don’t mind going out of my comfort zone here and there. This Gallany lipstick is also hydrating and infused with lilac extract which makes it amazing to wear all day!
Burberry beauty is simply superb. I tried their eye definer which is their version of an eye liner and I loved it. This lipstick of theirs is also stunning. It’s great for those who prefer a sheer lipstick color. The color isn’t pigmented as much which allows for the lipstick to be used as a chapstick as well. This is more of a illuminating finish with a touch of color. Out of the 5 featured lipsticks, this is the most lightweight and it smells beautiful!
This color from Jouer Cosmetics is a beautiful creamy berry red, almost pink (hope that makes sense) color. The coverage is amazing and I love that it doesn’t dry out my lips overtime. If you don’t like the brightness of this color, you can try applying the lip color and then slightly blotting it off to leave a hint of your preferred shade.
The original Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 was limited edition and therefore no longer available at MAC now, but the color is similar to MAC So Chaud. This is a red-orange color with a matte finish. If you want to make a statement, you wear this color. The matte finish doesn’t dry out your lips. Because the color is extremely pigmented, if you happen to get a stain somewhere on your face accidentally, good luck! I could totally see myself wearing this color with all black.
