2 days in Los Angeles

As you have probably guessed, I’ve been taking a short break from blogging. I love blogging, but when I’m not feeling inspired I don’t want to force myself to post content that I’m not passionate about. I’m a firm believer of quality over quantity. Last week was a good time for me to take a break and during the break, I headed down to my favorite city, Los Angeles! Ever since I went to school in Southern California, I fell in love with the culture and vibe. I try to visit LA at least 2-3 times per year. The past week, my significant other Kamal and I headed down to Universal Studios again to make the best use of our season passes and also because I was dying to visit World of Harry Potter again!

We arrived in LA on Tuesday, got some breakfast at the Malibu Farm (a MUST if you’re in Malibu) and then headed to our hotel. I was exhausted from driving for 5 hours so we both took naps before stepping out for some shopping at the Glendale Galleria. I bought a gorgeous cardigan from Madewell which I’ll be be doing a look with very soon! The next day we spent entirely at Universal Studios. Universal looked beautiful with all of the Christmas decorations and how cute is this Philmoore Payne Dentistry? Get it? Phil-moore Payne—it took me a while!

I have a soft spot for London. If I could move to London, I would do so in a heartbeat! The closest I got to London however, was the iconic red phone booth! It was quite cold in Los Angeles so I reached for my favorite North Face jacket, comfortable Nike shoes and yoga pants. Kamal wore his American Flag Hoodie which was sent from Rosegal. He loves anything with an American flag on it so I chose this hoodie for him and it’s perfect for guys who prefer a monochromatic look. He gets warm very quickly so he liked that it’s a thin layer or underneath a bigger jacket. The jacket is a perfect gift for guys in the military/law enforcement or just someone who’s patriotic! I realized we both opted for monochromatic looks after I went through our photos. If you haven’t seen my sweater dress sent from Rosegal, you can check it out here.

I can go to World of Harry Potter over 50 times, yet I will always take this shot!

Thank you Rosegal for sponsoring this post.
